The Office shall, among other things, contribute its part for the acceptance and appreciation of Ethiopian products and services in domestic and international markets by developing appropriate infrastructure of national accreditation system compatible with international requirements, and establish and implement accreditation system which allows locally provided conformity assessment services to be recognized internationally. The office shall have a Council of Accreditation, which shall review and approve directives to be issued by the Office pursuant to Article 6(5) of this Regulation. Full text English
