Abstract

This By-law of the eThekwini (Durban) Municipality deals with a wide variety of matters regarding public health in the municipal areas. It places some limitation of on food produce, handling and storage and concerns also the supply of wholesome water for drinking or domestic purpose and sewerage and sanitation. Discharge of polluted water and pollution of waters intended for public use is prohibited. There are also some rules for the introduction of meat or dead animal or bird into the municipality and the inspection of meat.
