Abstract These Regulations, as regards the territory of Gibraltar, are setting the food safety standards and issues related to the use of eruric acids in foodstuff intended for human consumption. As Defined in this text, eruric acid is a fatty acid cis-docos-13-enoic acid, or any carboxylic acid obtained by the hydrolysis of oil or fat, and includes any such acid existing in a free state in oil or fat.
