Abstract

This Order implements the provisions relating to milk of Council Directive 64/432/EEC on animal health problems affecting intra-Community trade in bovine animals and swine, as amended. The Order provides for the testing of milk arrangements for testing milk for evidence of enzootic bovine leukosis by approved laboratories. It also imposes a duty of those who buy milk in England for resale to ensure that milk is sent for testing to an approved laboratory.
