Abstract

This Notice provides for the designation by the Environmental Management Authority of the Nariva Swamp Managed Resource Protected Area as an Environmentally Sensitive Area in the sense of section 41 of the Environmental Management Act. The Notice shall not apply to private land in the Area. The purpose of the designation is the achievement of objectives as set out in part II of the Schedule to this Notice.
