These Regulations enter into force on 1 July 2002.
Abstract

These Regulations implement the Environmental Protection Act 1986 by providing for the operation and management of landfill sites. It provides for conditions that landfills site occupiers must abide to with respect to their fencing, the covering of waste, how waste must be contained, management of stormwater, dust suppression, firebreaks, burning of greenwaste, disposal of clinical waste, etc.
