The amendments also implement amendments which have been made, in respect of carbon capture and storage, to Directive 2008/1/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning integrated pollution prevention and control and to Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy, by Directive 2009/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the geological storage of carbon dioxide.
