Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Environment Management Act (BGBl. I No. 96/2001). The aim of the Ordinance is to set up national registers for organizations and the establishment of criteria for inclusion in these registers. Article 2 rules that waste management companies are organizations that collect,transport , sort, store, use or treat otherwise and which stipulate an agreement with waste management associations. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Purpose (1); Definition of terms (2); Registration prerequisites (3); General requirements (4); Compensation (5); Running of national registers (6); Gender issue (7); Entry into force (8).
