Abstract

These Regulations concern the process to be followed for identifying, predicting, evaluating and mitigating the biophysical, social, economic and other relevant effects of proposed projects and physical activities that might have an impact on the environment. These rules concern both Full Environmental Impact Assessment (which requires an Environmental Impact Statement) and Limited Environmental Impact Assessment (which requires an Environmental Planning Statement). Specific provisions are laid down with respect to projects that are likely to have transboundary impacts.
