Abstract

These Regulations contain amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999. They implement in relation to certain forestry projects, Directive 2014/52/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. The Regulations concern principally assessment of afforestation project in England and the co-ordination of environmental impact assessments.
