Abstract

These Regulations require permits for the bottling of beverages (not defined) in PET bottles. The permit must be obtained by the "responsible person", i.e. the owner of, or the person responsible for the management and control of, an enterprise involved in the bottling of a beverage in a PET bottle. The Schedules set out forms for an application and the permit. If the holder of a permit fails to comply with any of the conditions of permit, the Department of the Environment may revoke the permit. An annual return shall be submitted by a producer on the production, exportation and recycling of PET bottles. (8 regulations completed by 1 Schedule)
