Keyword Marine pollution Geographical area Americas, Atlantic Ocean Islands, North America, North Atlantic Abstract This Order extends to the territories provisions of Parts II and IV of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 and Schedules 2, 3 and 4 to the Act as modified and adapted as in Schedule 1 to this Order. The Schedule makes provision for controlling the deposit of substances and articles in the sea, to make provision for the control of the deposit of substances and articles under the sea-bed, and for connected purposes. The provisions concern licensing of dumping at sea within the territorial sea or fisheries zone of Bermuda by foreign vessels and deposit of substances or articles anywhere in the sea or under the sea-bed by bermudan vessels or in the sea or under the seabed of Bermuda by foreign vessels and the licensing for incineration at sea. Other provisions concern enforcement and prescribe offences and penalties.
