Abstract

This Act provides for the establishment and operation of the Environment Protection Authority. Functions of the Authority are: to give advice and make recommendations to the Minister, businesses and the community about ecologically sustainable development in the Territory. The Authority has power to do all things that are necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with the performance of its functions (sec.6).
