Abstract The main purposes of this Act are (a) to provide for the continuation of the Environment Protection Authority; and (b) to specify a new objective of the Environment Protection Authority; and (c) to provide for a new governance structure of the continued Environment Protection Authority; and (d) to provide for the Governing Board of the Environment Protection Authority; and (e) to make consequential amendments to the Environment Protection Act 1970 and the Public Administration Act 2004.
