Entry into force notes
All competent Authorities, each within its own competence, shall implement this Resolution, and it shall be effective from the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution consisting of 94 articles aims at organizing the administrative units of the Ministry of Environment, defining their various departments together with their different competencies. The administrative units are divided as follows: 1)Planning and Quality Management: Planning, Quality and Systems, Institutional Development; 2)Legal Affairs: Legal Studies, Issues and investigations; 3)Public Relations and Communications: Communication, Public Relations, Customer Service; 4)International cooperation: Organizations and Institutions, Technical cooperation and coordination; 5)Environmental processes: Environmental communications, Environmental Operations, Support and assistance; 6)Awareness and environmental education: Environmental education, Events and activities; 7)Environmental assessment: Development projects, Installations, Environmental sustainability; 8)Environmental monitoring: Air quality, Quality of the aquatic environment, Ecosystems; 9)Radiation protection and chemicals: Radiation protection, Hazardous substances, Hazardous waste; 10)Environmental protection: Wildlife, Marine protection, Farms; 11)Protected Areas and Wildlife: Protected areas, Wildlife, Natural Resources; 12)Industrial inspection and Pollution control: Environmental Audit, Inspection, Pollution control; 13)Climate change: Climate change policies, Programs and projects, Cleaner and sustainable practices; 14)Agriculture: Farms Affairs, Plant protection and Quarantine, Afforestation and agricultural production, Guidance and Agricultural Services, Agricultural Economics and Statistics; 15)Animal Resources: Guidance and livestock production, Veterinary quarantine, Animal Health, Veterinary Research; 16)Fisheries: Fisheries development, Fisheries, Fishermen's affairs, Aquaculture, Fishing ports; 17)Agricultural Research: Botanical Research, Biotechnology, Agro-Textiles, Genetic resources, Animal research. The other units are: Human Resources, Financial Affairs and Services.
