Abstract

The purpose of the Enforcement Rules is to provide for matters delegated by the Asbestos Safety Management Act and the Enforcement Decree of the same Act, as well as those necessary for the enforcement thereof. The text – consisting of 48 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: Types of Asbestos (art. 2); Types of Asbestos Building Materials (art. 3); Modification of Master Plans (art. 4); Notification of Survey Plans (art. 5); Reports on Findings from Impact Assessment of Naturally Occurring Asbestos (art. 15); Timing of Education on Safety Management of Asbestos (art. 33); Inspection on Status of Asbestos Slate Used in Structures (art. 35); Designation of Asbestos Environmental Centers (art. 44).
