Abstract The present Regulation is divided as follows: Chapter I, General Provisions; Chapter II, Supervision and Administration Over Prevention of Air Pollution; Chapter III, Prevention of Smoke pollution; Chapter IV, Prevention of Waste Gas, Dust, and Offensive Odour Pollution; Chapter VI, Supplementary Articles. The Regulation enforces the provisions under Article 40 of the Law on the Prevention of Air Pollution of People's Republic of China, and it provides for the avoidance, limitation, control of odours and other air pollutants.
