This Act shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.

Abstract

The purpose of this Document is to enforce the contribution to appropriate conservation, management, and utilization of marine biological resources by prescribing matters necessary for the Republic of Korea's exercising its sovereign rights in relation to foreigners' fishing activities conducted in the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Korea - as stipulated by the related provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
