Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Planning Act. In particular, the Regulation establishes that the York Energy Centre is not subject to certain sections of the afore-mentioned Act. For the purpose of the present Regulation the “York Energy Centre Project” means the undertaking that is the natural gas-fired simple cycle peaking electrical generation facility proposed to be located on those lands legally described as being in the Township of King, York Region.
