This Order enters into force on 28 October 2005.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of five sections and two Schedules, establishes for the purposes of section 34Q (2) of the Act: a) each designated energy user listed in Part A of Schedule 1 is to prepare a draft energy savings action plan in accordance with section 34R of the Act and submit it to the Minister for approval by 30 June 2006, b) each designated energy user listed in Part B of Schedule 1 is to prepare a draft energy savings action plan in accordance with section 34R of the Act and submit it to the Minister for approval by 30 September 2006, c) each local council that is a designated energy user pursuant to section 34B (a) of the Act and listed in Schedule 2 is to prepare a draft energy savings action plan in accordance with section 34R of the Act and submit it to the Minister for approval by 30 September 2006, and d) each designated energy user listed in Part C of Schedule 1 is to prepare a draft energy savings action plan in accordance with section 34R of the Act and submit it to the Minister for approval by 31 December 2006.
