Abstract The purpose of this Law shall be to regulate matters relating to energy generation, transmission, distribution, dispatching and supply activities, construction of energy facilities and energy consumption that involve utilisation of energy resources. It shall also establish the competencies of the Government in the Energy Sector and the duties and responsibilities of the Energy Regulatory Authority. Energy sources used for electricity generation include also renewable energy sources.
