In particular, the Regulation establishes a loan programme to encourage the responsible and efficient use of energy in the development of resources in the Yukon. Section 3 specifies that the Minister may make loans in accordance with this Regulation to assist the construction of the energy infrastructure for eligible projects. For the purpose of the present Regulation, “resources” includes mineral and energy resources, agriculture and aquaculture, forestry and silviculture, the freshwater fishery and tourism.
