In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. Section 5 establishes that for the purpose of section 2 (1) (b) of the Act, every energy device must have affixed to it a label, containing a registered trademark, word mark or symbol of the person or organization, that verifies that the energy device complies with the energy efficiency standards required under the Act.
