Abstract

This Act, consisting of six Parts, provides for the administrative framework for the management of energy and it establishes the Department of Energy and constitutes the Energy Corporation of New South Wales. The Act is divided in the following Parts: Preliminary; Objects; Administration; Functions of the Corporation; Inquiries; Energy provisions; Finance and Miscellaneous. Provisions of the Act also cover inspections, enforcement and offences.
