The present Act provides for the administrative framework for the management of energy. The text consists of 98 sections divided into 8 Parts as follows: Oil export charges (I); Transportation fuel compensation recovery charge (II); Domestic oil (III); Domestic gas (IV); Petroleum compensation charge (V); Canadian ownership provisions (VI); Cost compensation (VII); General (VIII).
