Abstract

These Regulations amend the principal Regulations so as to insert some changes in existing provisions regarding a permit for importation or exportation of plant or animal species, a re-exportation certificate, introduction from the sea certificate or other certificate. A form of permit is attached in the Second Schedule. In regulation 1 a new provision is inserted stating that the principal Regulation shall not apply to a species for which a national quota has been determined pursuant to section 15 (1) (f) of the Endangered Species (Protection, Conservation and Regulation of Trade) Act, 2000.
