Abstract

This Order, made under articles 30 and 49 of the Endangered Species (CITES) (Jersey) Law 2012, specifies fees that shall accompany an application for: the grant of a permit, certificate or licence pursuant to article 19 of the Law; alteration of, or alteration or revocation of a condition in, a permit, certificate or licence under article 26 of the Law; a replacement permit, certificate or licence under article 29 of the Law. The Order also exempts from the payment of a fee an application under article 19 for an import permit, export permit or re-export certificate if the Management Authority determines that the import, export or re-export of specimens of a species referred to in the application is likely to bring conservation benefits to the species. The fee for the application for a commercial licence may be reduced at certain conditions.
