Abstract

This Act concerns the protection of endangered species in Newfoundland and Labrador. It contains provisions on the determination and designation of species to be treated as at risk (Part II), what such designation determines (Part III) and how plans to recover or manage species at risk are developed (Part IV), including provisions on the protection of the habitats of designated species (Part V). The Act also provides for its enforcement.
