Abstract This Resolution consisting of 13 articles and 2 Annexes aims at providing per the requirements for obtaining the mark for sustainable agriculture granted by the Authority for Standardization and Metrology to the product to indicate that it conforms to the standards of sustainable agriculture. The provisions of this Resolution apply to (i) farms producing food crops, livestock and aquatic organisms bearing the status of sustainable farms or similar designations; (ii) the products of food crops, livestock and aquatic organisms from farms or group of farms contained in (i); (iii) economic activities that have significant impacts on sustainability in the surrounding environment and society, and include processing, delivery, wholesale and retail trade. Article 3 deals with the requirements for obtaining the UAE label, including effective planning and management system, environmental management systems, improving livelihoods and human well-being, sustainable production of livestock and aquaculture. Article 4 provides for mark obtaining procedures.
