Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Emergency Program Act. In particular, the Regulation identifies duties and responsibilities of provincial ministries and government corporations in relation to specific hazards and generally in the event of an emergency. The text consists of 9 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Provincial Emergency Program (2); Emergency plans and procedures of ministers (3); Emergency plans and procedures of government corporations (4); Inter-Agency Emergency Preparedness Council (5); Role of ministers in relation to hazards (6); Role of ministers in emergency or disaster (7); Role of government corporations in emergency or disaster(8); Authority for policing and firefighting in declared state of emergency (9)
