Abstract

The present Regulation enacts the Emergency Measures Act. Section 2 establishes that the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization is responsible for stimulating and coordinating emergency preparedness planning for emergencies and disasters during peacetime and war. The following departments and agencies of the Government of New Brunswick shall have designated planning responsibilities: the Department of Environment, the Department of Fisheries, the Department of Agriculture and Aquaculture, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Natural Resources. The text consists of 7 sections.
