The Romanian Government adopts the present emergency Ordinance establishing free grant for students in grades I-IV in public education in dairy and bakery daily limit value of 7.000 lei/learner. The limit value includes the price of products, transportation costs, distribution and storage. Limits for the amount pupil/day referred shall be updated annually by Government Decision, depending on the evolution of prices and tariffs including a list of varieties of dairy and bakery. It establishes also the right to receive daily assistance, according to the structure of the school year and the products referred to. The school units respond directly, ensuring reception conditions and distribution of dairy and bakery, as well as documents confirming the payment.
