Moneys from the Fund are paid for: (a) the cost of purchasing or replenishing food stocks; (b) costs of storage; (c) transport and other costs related to building up and maintaining a stock of food. The food stocks shall be managed in such a manner as to ensure that the quality of food is preserved at all times. The Permanent Secretary of Agriculture may appoint agents for food purchase. Emergency issues shall be issued only at the direction of the National Disaster Relief Committee and after the Prime Minister has declared a national disaster. (11 regulations) Full text English
