The present Regulations enter into force on 1 October 2015.
Abstract

The present Regulations are made under sections 4 and 14 of the Waste Reduction and Recovery Act. Section 2 establishes the Electronics Recycling Programme. The Chief Environmental Protection Officer shall administer this programme. The text – consisting of 36 sections – deals with the following aspects: interpretation, administration of programme and Environment Fund, prohibitions, applications, collection events, depots, processing centres, appeals, books and records, payments from the Environment Fund, transitional, commencement. One Schedule is enclosed.
