Abstract The present Regulation enacts the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and the Designated Material Recycling and Management Regulation. For the purpose of this Regulation “electronics” means all electrical and electronic equipment or devices, whether intended for consumer, industrial or commercial use. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the recycling and management of designated materials, such as “electronics” which are a designated material for the purposes of Part 9, Division 1, of the Act and the Designated Material Recycling and Management Regulation.
