Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Electrical Engineering Act 1992 (BGBl. No. 106/1993) and the Mineral Raw Material Act (BGBl. I No. 39/1999), as well as the transposition of the Guideline 2014/30/EU on the harmonization of legislation of member states on electromagnetic compatibility into Austrian law. In particular, the purpose of the Ordinance is to protect the environment from electro-magnetic pollution by keeping the acceptable level of electromagnetic field. The text consists of 26 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Conformity of resources (2); Notification by conformity assessment bodies (3); Transitional and final provisions s (4).
