Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Electricity Act, provide for rules for the generation of electricity from renewable sources and provides for approval of such generation. No person shall generate electricty without approval of the Minister. The Minister may issue renewable energy certifcates. Electricity under these regulations may be generated from solor and wind renewable sources.
