Abstract

This Act amends the Electricity Regulation Act so as to insert some new definitions in the interpretations section and in provisions concerning discretionary powers of the Minister in relation with the determination of licensed activities and registration of persons involved in an activity relating to trading or the generation, transmission or distribution of electricity that does not require licensing. It also inserts a new Chapter in the principal Act on duties of municipalities that reticulate energy and amends the Long Title.
