The present Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2017.
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Food and Agricultural Products Classification Act. In particular, the Regulations provides for the grading and standards of eggs. Article 2 establishes that the programme established under the Egg Regulations (Canada) is adopted as a grading programme for the purposes of the presentAct, and applies only to domestic hen eggs. The text consists of 12 sections divided into 4 Parts as follows: Definitions and application (1); Grading programme for domestic hen eggs (2); Standards programme for processed eggs (3); Offences (4).
