In particular, the Order lays down provisions relating to the registration of egg and pullet producers. Section 1 establishes that a person who raises or keeps laying hens must not engage in marketing eggs in Manitoba during a fiscal year of the Board unless the person is registered as an egg producer with the Board. Section 2 specifies that a person is not entitled to be registered as an egg producer unless the person has been allotted, or is entitled to be allotted, a laying hen quota by the Board.
