Abstract

This Act amends section 1231 of Title 24 of the Palau National Code to provide for the protection of dugongs, a marine mammal of which there are very few left in Palauan waters. It prohibits intentionally killing or recklessly injuring or killing a dugong or exposing a dead dugong for sale.
