This Act enters into force immediately.
Abstract

This Act, consisting of 42 sections divided into five Chapters and completed by six Schedules, establishes the Drug Regulatory Authority. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Board, entitled to carry out the following activities: (a) frame the policy and provide guidelines based on global and regional trends to the Authority and monitor the implementation and performance of the guidelines and of the functions of the Authority ensuring good governance and accountability; (b) monitor and supervise all the.functions of the Authority; (c) approve the Budget of the Authority; and (d) determine all fees and levies.
