The Regulation lays down provisions relating to drinking water systems in respect of groundwater and surface water. The text – consisting of 15 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: open designated facilities and public facilities, water obtained through transportation, exemptions: non-residential systems connected to other systems, exemptions: non-residential systems that receive transported water, exemptions: warning notices for systems and users without electricity, systems regulated under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, system information, annual reports, retention of records and information to be available.
