The Law has come into force on 21 May 1997.
Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to safeguard and improve drinking water quality, and to protect public health. It consists of 6 Chapters divided into 31 articles. Article 5 refers to the activities that may pollute water sources and water quality. Chapter 3 concerns the management of equipment.
