The present Regulation enters into force on 1 April 2009.The present Regulation expires on 30 June 2017.
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Mines and Minerals Act (RSA 2000, c. M-17). The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the granting of credits for drilling activities. The text – consisting of 17 sections – deals with the following aspects: eligible wells, establishing and allocating drilling royalty credits, applying for credits, average daily Crown production, crude oil and gas royalty obligations, records, licensee and operator liability, reporting circumstances affecting eligibility and coming into force.
