Abstract

The present Regulation enacts the Oil and Gas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the granting of licences for drilling activities and production procedures. The text consists of 126 sections divided into 14 Parts as follows: Definitions (1); Well and battery names (2); Well licence (3); Spacing units, target areas and off-target penalties (4); Equipment registration (5); Drilling, completing servicing and abandonment (6); Production operations (7); Flow line (8); Spills - environmental protection (9); Measurement (10); Well data (11); Records and reports (12); Release of information (13); Review (13.1); Repeal and coming into force (14). Four Annexes are enclosed.
