Abstract

This Chapter of the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) concerns drainage districts. Specifically, it provides for organization of drainage districts; drainage districts managing federally authorized flood control projects; board of supervisors, administration, surety bonds and warrants; engineer, plan for reclamation, commissioners and assessment of benefits; works and improvements of district; contracts with United States for reclamation; districts west of cascades, construction and maintenance of ditches; assessments, charges and taxes; bonds of district; funding and refunding of debt; and alternative method of refunding indebtedness or issuing bonds.
