Abstract This Act consists of 81 sections divided into 7 parts. It creates a Drainage Council (sect. 2) which is responsible for receiving and evaluating petitions for the establishment of drainage districts. On its recommendation, the Minister responsible for the Environment decides on the establishment of the district. Changes to districts and their dissolution are also regulated (sects. 9-12).
