Abstract

These Regulations lay down the procedure to be followed for the certification of wines. Wine producers may apply to participate in the D.O.K. quality scheme in order to obtain such certification. Schedule I lays down the Production Protocol of the “Malta” D.O.K. wines, whereas Schedule II lays down the Production Protocol of the “Gozo” D.O.K. wines. These Protocols specify the conditions to obtain such denomination of origin, as regards demarcation of regions of grape production, wine growing methods, minimum natural alcoholic strength, oenological practices and processes.
