Abstract

These model Bye-laws contain rules for the keeping and the control of dogs in areas under the jurisdiction of District Councils. They allow District Councils to prohibit the keeping of troublesome or dangerous dogs or dogs infected with rabies and to seize and destroy abandoned or diseased dogs. Diseased dogs shall be treated and all dogs licensed and vaccinated against rabies.
